The system consists of a vacuum machine which is located away from your living area in a garage, utility room or cupboard etc.
The machine is linked by
Ø50mm PVC concealed pipework and LV wiring that are specifically designed for central vacuum systems.
Specially designed-longer radius fittings are used to maximize the airflow and a 'restrictor elbow' is fitted on the valve mounting plate, to stop any unwanted items entering the system pipework.
A small number of conveniently placed inlet valves are located within a property and the system is activated by inserting a cleaning hose.
The system pipework can easily be concealed within floors, ceilings, service voids and lofts etc, which also includes the low voltage wiring that inter connects each inlet valve with the vacuum machine.
The number of inlet valves are determined by the size and layout of a property, and an average of four valves are required for a 3 to 6 bedroom home.
To activate the system, simply insert the cleaning hose into any of the inlet valves, which automatically starts the vacuum machine.
The inlet valves are generally positioned at the same height as and electrical socket (50cm F.F.L) and the valves are available in a range of styles, finishes and colours to suit your décor.
The motors used in a CVC vacuum machine are generally larger and more powerful, producing high air watts, delivering greater levels of vacuum suction.
There is no re-circulation of the fine dust spores and mites that can be evident when using portable vacuum cleaners, and100% of the dust is removed and deposited within the dirt bucket.
The system helps to remove harmful irritants, and pet dander that are responsible for causing allergies and asthma conditions to both children and adults alike.
Despite the larger motor of a central vacuum system, they offer much quieter cleaning and lower noise levels at the end of the cleaning hose.
Using your central vacuum system couldn’t be easier, the lightweight hose and array of cleaning attachments makes cleaning far more versatile and faster too.
The inclusion of a central vacuum cleaning system, adds saleable value to both domestic and commercial properties.
